The University Library is an important component of the Agricultural Technology Park. The Library has started functioning at Central Campus in 1972. The Library is situated in the heart of the University campus. It is on a hillock surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery. The carpet area of library building is 1075 sq. mtrs. The building has a capacity of stacking three lakh volumes and can accommodate 250 readers.  

Library is one of the most significant needs of the education. The students, professors and research workers use the relevant books, periodicals of national & international writers and publications. The library at Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth is the home study for the education seekers and the professors. The University Library has 40,978 books, 7885 periodicals. The university regularly receives 92 Indian & 32 international periodicals. College of Fisheries, Ratnagiri is having the library equipped with 6,937 books and 528 periodicals.

Together with regular library facilities, extra facilities like Xerox service, inter library loans, LAN services, Open Access facility and Research Cubicles are the salient features of the Library.
