In order to promote all-round development of students, the university has established student counseling, sport education, the scheme of learning while earning. Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth provides different scholarships and the assistantship to the meritorious and needy students. Other related activities organized by the University are N.C.C., N.S.S., tree plantation, blood donation camp, donation to the earth quake affected people, farmers’ meets, adult education, plant protection campaigns, fisheries development, fishing and fishnet weaving etc.
