In the present days of specialization, inter-dependence among the institutions and organizations has got much significance and relevance. Thus DBSKKV and RCF signed MOU in 1995 implement extension project around Thal. The objective of the project to disseminate the improved technology of rice cultivation to introduce the pulses and oilseeds in residual moisture to increase the area and production under fruit crops as per the objectives of the project the project was implemented from 1995 to  2000.  Manifold extension activities were carried out regularly and thus, inspite of many constraints particularly the hostile and aggressive nature of the farmers of the area due to sincere efforts university scientists could bring attitudinal change among farming community. and thus, at the end of the project, farmers of the area had very well realised the importance of improved technology  and they are demanding the technology on payment basis. Because of this project the farming community of the area started supporting the active participation and started looking positively towards these two organizations.
