| Plant protection measures | ||
3 sprays of insecticides – 0.1% carbaryl, 0.05%. Endosulphan and 0.05% Monocrotophos are necessary for controlling Tea mosquito pest which damages the inflorescence, Starting from emergence of new vegetative flush in Oct – November. |

| Fertilizers | ||
From 4th year and onwards each plant be given following fertilizer dose 30 kg FYM, 2.000 kg urea, 1.500 kg single super phosphate and 0.500 kg Muriate of potash. Graded dose be given to younger plants as per the age. |
