  Polythene mulch technology  
 
Sowing of groundnut using 7-micron thick polythen mulch of 90 cm width and sowing at a spraying of 20 X 10 cm for erect and 30 X 10 cm for spreading types.
 
         
  Irrigation  
 

Pre sowing irrigation and after this irrigations at 15 days internal upto flowering stage and then irrigation at 10 to 12 days interval up to pod development stage.

 
      
  Weeding  
 

Application of herbicides Busalin @ 5 ml/lit. of water or oxadiargyl @ 3 ml/lit of water at 2 to 3 days after sowing and one hand weeding at 30 days after sowing

At the time of peg formation for Erect-types – 45 to 50 days after sowing for semi spreading stages 50 to 65 days after sowing.

  Harvesting  
 

Harvesting is done after 80% pods are matured. Groundnut crop is harvested by digging pods or by pulling the plants from field. Groundnut crop is harvested when seed moisture content is at 18 to 20 per cent.
