Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth has established “Taraporewala Marine Biological Research Center” at Mumbai and “Marine Biological Research Station” at Rantagiri for the research in fish cultivation in rice farm, sweet water fish cultivation and Kakai (Wakunda) cultivation.
