Horticultural production holds paramount importance in the Konkan economy. The University has made available high yielding commercial varieties of Mango, Cashew, coconut which have been adopted by the farmers widely for increasing horticultural production. Easy, rapid and low cost propagation techniques of mango and cashew such as stone grafting and soft wood grafting have been developed by the University.
