For a better growth of cross breed young bull, animal should be fed with 1 kg concentrate + 5 kg green grass and adlib quantity of urea treated dry grass. |

From two years survey of goat flock in sindhudurg district at 3 months interval, it was observed that there is major incidence of strongyle and amphistomes followed by Trichuris , Coccidia and Monienzia. |

During the scarcity of green grass fodder, the animals should be fed with the leaves of fodder shrubs viz. kevan, Bhend, khargol, Bokadea, Ranchetki, Tuti, Petkul, kanchan, shivan, Palehasan , Ranmung . All these fodder shrubs are palatable and accepted by the animals. |

Studies on economic traits of cross breed cows maintained at C.B.F. Nileli during the period from 1989-2002 indicated that the cross breed animals ranging from 37.5% to 75 % exotic inheritance can adopted very well in Konkan climatic condition |

Studies on storage on milk at village level indicated that the cow milk can be kept viable for 14 hrs in summer, 16 hrs in rainy season and 19 hrs in winter season in bricks and sand cool chamber. |

Studies on cutting interval for higher green fodder production of para grass, Napier, Yaswant, guinea grass, NB-21 and fulgavat indicated that maximum green fodder yield from perennial fodder is obtained by cutting at an interval of 45 days. |

Studies on worm infestation in cattle and there proper deworming time indicated that the animal should be deworm at the onset of monsoon and at the end of monsoon every year. The maximum worm infestation was observed during rainy season. |

This Research station has developed a goat breed i.e. "Konkan Kanyal" for high rainfall, hot and humid climate of Konkan region. |

Studies on housing for goat indicated that raised wooden platform system is essential for housing goats in high rain fall area. |

Comparative performance of different rabbit breed for mutton propose under Konkan climatic condition indicated that the breeds viz Soviet chinchilla, Black brown, Gray giant and White giant are best suited under Konkan climatic condition. |
